How long are services available to alumni?
Career Services are offered to students four years after graduation. However, all alumni are welcome to come to networking and events advertised as “All Alumni Welcome”.
I graduated in the last four years or more. What career advising services are available to me?
Career Services offered are (but not limited to) Interest Discovery Opportunities, Meet-Ups, Career Fairs, Employment Document Help (Cover Letter, Resume, Application, Thank You Letter, etc.), Interviewing Help, Post-Secondary Events/Workshops (Job Corps, Community Colleges, Housing, Transportation, Networking Events, etc.) and much more!
Does Alumni Support include Career Coaching?
Yes! Make an appointment with a Job Coach today! We are here to help you!
Will the Alumni Career Services help me search for jobs?
Yes! We will help you not only your job search but through the application and interview process!
Do you provide information on changing industries or careers?
Yes! If we don’t have the information, we can direct you to a OneStop, Job Corps program, etc. We have all sorts of partnerships we are developing!
Where do I find out about events, office hours, and other Alumni Network meet-ups?
Check our newsletter and events page for updates! Email us if you would like to be added to be added to the newsletter email list
Are Alumni family members/friends welcome to come to meet-ups?
Yes, as long as the event states “Open to Alumni Guests”
My organization would like to post an internship or a full-time position for students and alumni. How can I do that?
Alumni and employers interested in hiring a Yosemite Monarch employee may post internships and jobs for free on our website until filled! Email us with your request and a description of the position or job posting: Alumni@centralvcs.org
