Communities Actively Living Independent & Free

Communities Actively Living Independent & Free (CALIF) is an independent living center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides advocacy programs and services for people with disabilities primarily residing within the 50 zip codes of Los Angeles County covering south and central Los Angeles and neighboring communities.

Project Six- Adult Residential Program   Project Six is dedicated to improving the quality of life of adults with developmental disabilities. Anchored by the belief that every individual is entitled to the supports and structure necessary to help maximize potential, Project Six is committed to a person-centered team approach which supports each resident in the achievement of self-worth and happiness.

Guiding Hands Since their inception in 1961, Home of Guiding Hands has provided benchmark programming and housing for men, women, and children with developmental disabilities.

Northern California

Sunflower Hill  Sunflower Hill is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working to create a sustainable residential community for individuals with special needs – similar to senior living. The Community would not only support life-long living opportunities, but social, vocational, educational and recreational programs to ensure a full and productive life.
